Dear visitors,
5 . On January 2025 we finished our activities in the charming house U Rytířů, which after years of preparation will receive a much needed revitalization. The architectural renovation of the house, which should be completed in 2027, was undertaken by the Brno architectural studio Kuba & Pilař architekti. The main ideas of their project are to connect the current gallery space with the still underused back wing of the house, to reconstruct the existing and build new exhibition spaces, and above all to modernize the facilities for you, our visitors. In the new house U Rytířů you will not only find a new studio for educational activities or a cozy café connected to the gallery courtyard, but also a friendly library with professional literature focused on art, design and architecture.
During the reconstruction, we will be attacking you with art in the City Picture Gallery (June-September), through the windows on Smetana Square and in our offices on Toulovec Square. Please follow our website and social networks.
